Police open fire on innocent man. Over forty bullets were fired without any concern for public safety. The victim was shot fourteen times resulting in his death. Did I mention that the cowardly pigs shot him in the back? Nice work pigs, there are many ways to subdue a suspect; murder in cold blood is not one of them.

In addition, the National Security Letters allows law enforcement to seize people’s personal records without suspicion of criminal activity, and with little or no judicial review. Laws aimed at censoring the free flow of information on the Internet, and overly aggressive policing of peaceful dissent only serve as historical reminders of what can happen when the visions of narrow minded decedents of history’s most brutal dictators goes unchecked.

From the 1920's Red Scare, through McCarthyism and blacklists, when Americans marched for civil rights, voiced "unpopular" views on any issues of the day, Freedom fighters were there to safeguard free speech, freedom of expression and everyone's right to speak out without fear of legal reprisal.

Left unchecked, this wide-ranging assault would undermine the foundations of freedom in our country and allow a zealous few to impose their narrow-minded definition of "morality" on everyone. That will never happen as long as you remain a vital, active Freedom fighter.
